On Thursday 16th June 2022 there was a ceremonial planting of oak trees at the William Alvey School in Sleaford. The oaks celebrate the twenty and ten years of Twinning with Marquette-Lez-Lille in France and Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf in Germany. Jan Mathieson Chair of the Sleaford Twinning Association spoke about the strong and continuing links. Teachers Stephen Tapley and Sian Lee were present guiding the planting by pupils of the William Alvey
